Kendal Haynie, an 8th-grade student at Wakulla Middle School, is putting people on notice that she is for real and will be a force to be feared when she gets into the 9th grade at Wakulla HS. She is a middle schooler at Wakulla Middle School and has not let her young age stop her from seeking out the toughest competition. Most recently kendal wrestled at the Super 32 qualifier in Kissimmee at 108 pounds where she walked away with a silver Medal in the Folkstyle competition.
In April of this year, Kendal demonstrated her prowess on a national stage, finishing in an impressive 3rd place at the Addidas Nationals held in Missouri. A few of Stompknockers accolades are as follows: Florida girls middle school state champion with 4 pins, Georgia girls middle school state champion with 3 pins and voted OW for the tournament, Georgia State Boys Division – 5th place with a 3-2 record and 2 pins.
Kendal Haynie competes and trains with Grappling House where she started and has improved tremendously since starting as a timid, shy little girl. Make no mistake, Haynie is gunning for 4 high school state titles and if the predictions of some of the people I have spoken to about her come true, she will get them!! Don’t forget the name Kendal Haynie from Wakulla because i have a funny feeling we will all be hearing it a lot!!
